cool  So I got an email about the MoH game that I believe is due out in November (Correct me if wrong).  Everything worked well with getting the dl and using the key.  So far though, and this being a beta is expected,  I like the game.  Similar to COD in many ways though and some are bad.  They have Matchmaking in the MP and at least in the beta no indication of LAN capability.  Now many things are missing, like only one low resolution was available, and I remapped some control keys but in game they did not work.  I hope that the beta is really a stripped down version of the real game cause it does not give me enough hype and drool to pre-order or run out and get the game once it is released.  This may be another great game when it comes out, just hope it is not plagued by the crap that they hosed us with in COD.

Well, coming from EA I have a feeling that it will be a very similar interface. They're moving from LAN based gaming to retain control of the servers, and to avoid having to program for dedicated servers. Just a pathetic excuse.

Saying that, I'm actually looking forward to it! I have liked the MoH installments so far, but am more curious about the new COD: Black Ops. I have a feeling it'll be same same though.

I have been playing the beta a bit now, and overall, me likey! Yeah, the resolution blows, but it's the same for everyone, so it's fair. Mapping of keys is pretty hit and miss, and sometimes simple commands for actions, like running, is absurdly non-responsive or just plain non-existent. That being said, it's a fun beta. I had to remind myself that it's a test bed and likely not reflective in any way on the final product.

The weapons are cool, and every installment or new generation of shooters seems to be (for the most part, anyway) better than before in terms of realism in movement, weapons/ballistics, and tactics. I dig the smaller map feel, like COD, but I also dig the Battlefield feel. I like that you can't get sniped from a map away by some joker with an MP45!

So far so good, and while I'm with Bush in that I'm not likely to run out and buy it on release day, it is something to look forward to.

but more importantly....

BAD COMPANY 2 VIETNAM BABY !

Seriously...is that thing ever going to make it to PC? lol...I'm really looking forward to this. I like this game more and more, though >>ahem<<glitches and cheats are more pronounced now. PB does a pretty good job with updates, though, and it's nice to see people removed from servers automatically, although I do like the fact that you can choose non-PB servers if you so desire. Just wish the cheaters went there first...  angry

You know, i dont know. I only heard of it and thought the idea of BF vietnam + frostbite engine would be pure win. Honestly i have not been playing much of any battle field at all, even when i just installed a GTX 480 in my pc. Im going to be all over fire arms source today, Starcraft2,NS2 and i just got into the beta for Company of Heroes Online,  which is actually really cool, tons of ways to customize your doctrine commander in that and its free to play when its released as well !
