Alright guys its official the March 18th party will in fact be an overnighter.  This means we will provide pizza throughout Saturday night and doughnuts, juice coffee, etc in the AM.  As always feel free to bring any of your own food or beverage (including alcohol if you are of age).  For anyone wishing to get some sleep bring a sleeping bag and we have plenty of floor space upstairs for you to crash on.  I would like to at some point during the night play some Star Wars: Battlefront.  When the game first came out we tried it and it seemed to be a hit but then was quickly followed by some more popular games and we never tried it again.  Also reply to this post in the announcements and let me know what other game we would like to see.  I will then try to develop a schedule.  Hope to see ya there!!!  afro

Lol, Star Wars BattleFIELD eh?

Seriusly one of my favorites though. This game has been a favorite at every little LAN party I've ever thrown. Battlefront II is sweet also, because you can play as Jedi!

How about Rainbow Six Lockdown, since it came out on Feb 14.  That's the newest FPS isn't it?  I'm speaking of the release for PC, I know it was released on xbux pis2 and gaycube earlier. (yes I ment to spell them that way cuz it's funny)  evil

I don't have it yet, anyone try it?  huh

We could give it a go.  I have it and tried it and was VERY un-impressed.  But as I look back Ravenshield singleplayer kinda sucks too...  So maybe it's better Multi

I saw that on my favorite "demo"  evil site and was wondering if it was any good.  Seems to be gettin a lot of downloads.  Maybe I'll grab it too. (Although I am usually not into racing games)

My two pence:

IMHO, Battlefront I is better than Battlefront II...It's fun for a couple of hours... But I'm in for some Star Wars action. II is okay. My 10 year old loves it, but I can't play for very long without becoming incredibly bored. SWBFI doesn't have the eye candy, but gameplay is a little more fluid. What's everyone else think that's played it?

Who's up for a Battlefield 2 tourny? I think we should do several hours of this. Get some teams together and fight it out. Maybe HS and DOA can pick the teams, or draw names. Big maps are a kick with at least ten peeps on a team, but are still doable with five. Medium and small maps might be the way to go, though.

FEAR and maybe some Joint Ops would be fun, too.

I'm looking forward to the weekend!

I don't normally quote myself but, I will have two other driving games as well as the aformentioned one.  I will have Crashday and Trackmania Nations. Check em out.....
